So a wee bit more from Rachel & Dan. What I adored about Rachel & Dan‘s wedding was that they incorporated so many incredible traditions and heirlooms into everything. Rachel’s engagement ring belonged to Dan’s mother. Dan’s mother made the fabric hung on the chuppah. The posts that the fabric was hung from were actually salvaged trees from Dan’s family land. Rachel’s earrings belonged to her great-grandmother…and I kept hearing all day little snippets of this or that that was included and it really made the wedding truly belong to Rachel & Dan.
And oh how much I love outdoor weddings. Well, outdoor anything to do with a wedding really. I completely understand why most brides choose not to have their weddings outdoor in Pittsburgh but I like when a bride braves out that fear of rain. And Rachel & Dan had a beautiful day for a wedding.
